When to use this tool
Crossing the Atlantic? US Letter and A4 are close but not identical — content created in one and printed on the other gets margins clipped or extra whitespace. Resize copies the content into a fresh page of the size you want, scaled and centered so nothing is cut.

FAQ
Does this lose any content?
No — content is scaled to fit the new box, never cropped. If the source aspect ratio doesn't match the target, you'll get equal margins on the long axis.
Mixed page sizes in one file?
Every page is rescaled independently to the target. So a file with mixed A4 + A5 sources will end up uniform after resize.
Are my files uploaded?
Never — this runs entirely in your browser via pdf-lib. See the privacy policy.
How do I convert a PDF from A4 to US Letter?
Pick US Letter as the target size. The content is scaled to fit the new page while keeping its aspect ratio, so nothing is cropped — you get slightly different margins, which is unavoidable because the two formats are not the same shape.
Will resizing make my file smaller in megabytes?
No. Page size and file size are unrelated: the same text and images are still in there. Use Compress PDF for file size, or Compress to a target size if you need to hit a specific limit.
Can I scale to a percentage instead of a paper size?
Yes — scale by percent when you want the same shape at a different size, for example shrinking A3 artwork to 70% so it prints on A4.
Does the text stay sharp after resizing?
Yes. Pages are embedded and scaled as vectors, not rasterised, so text and line art stay crisp at any size.
